Luxor's Full Grandeur: Private East & West Bank Journey

The best trip I’ve had in a long time! Our guide Sayed Gamal was a goldmine of knowledge and it was a pleasure to see the incredible sights and learn so much at the same time. If you come to Egypt - don’t skip Luxor - Luxor Egypt tours will take amazing care of you. Once in a lifetime experience. I would give 6 stars if I could:)

We took a provate full day trip to East and West bank sites at Luxor with Luxor Egypt Tours and it was overall an amazing experience. The guide Mahmoud was extremely good as a guide and explained everything in detail in such a way that we felt really connected to that ancient tome. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a tour at Luxor and received great service from our guide Sayed Gamal and driver Ahmed. Our van was in great condition. We felt so lucky to have Sayed as our guide. He was professional and remarkably knowledgeable. Thank you!

We had such a fantastic tour around the east and west banks of Luxor, with our amazing guide Sayed Gamal. We saw everything we wanted to see in Luxor at our own pace. I’d recommend starting as early as possible to get to the valley of the kings before the crowd (and the heat). Our guide Sayed was excellent, he was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we had the best day possible. He was very accommodating to our preferences and went above and beyond! Thank you!

We had a great time in Luxor with Emad as our guide and Tamir as our driver. Emad was very knowledgeable about the history of the Valley of Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak and Luxor Temple. We did a side trip to the Alabaster Making witnessing how the locals create one. They were all interesting and we learned a lot. We really enjoyed ourselves but it was very hot, the AC in the car was heaven sent. Food was not included in our tour so Emad brought us to the Isis restaurant in town to eat. We did not have $ but he was happy to accept £. We paid £10 each for the meal. It was delicious. By afternoon, the sun was settling a bit so we truly enjoyed Karnak and Luxor Temple. We were picked up directly from the airport and got dropped off again so we had to pay £20. We paid gratuities to Emad and Tamir as a sign of appreciation for wonderful tour they gave us.

Mr Sayed Gamal (guide) with driver Ahmed were excellent, arrived ahead of time to pick us from the hotel. Mr Sayed went through the plan and explained how the day would be organised, and had a wealth of knowledge when sharing information on the various sites/temples we visited, and always very accommodating & helpful. The tour was great and would definitely recommend Mr Sayed due to his experience and knowledge of the historical sites. Thanks to both Mr Sayed Gamal and Ahmed, would definitely use them again for future tours.

After booking, a month before our trip,i reached out and asked if I could change the order of the sites opting for an early start that saw us at Valley of the Kings as it opened. I received a quick and supportive response. The day before the tour, the company advised who the guide and driver was. The guide, Ahmed, then What's App'd confirming Tamer (the driver) would pick us up first, sent a picture of the car and license plate, and then pick up Ahmed on the way. Tamer was a confident and carefuldriver, we felt very safe. Ahmed was wonderful, he read my husband and I well. Giving us an introduction in the car as we reached the sites, some more upon entering and walking around the sites. Answering our questions when we had them, and then giving us time at each sites to explore on our own. He took pictures for us, which was greatly appreciated. Ahmed offered to take us to Alabaster and cotton stores. And when we said we weren't up to going to cotton, he really didn't mind. In summary, we would happily do another tour with Ahmed. So knowledgeable about the sites, and such a lovely person. We would recommend it. Last note, we took the option of guide and car, and bought our own tickets via the government site. It meant no queues or waiting for ticket purchases. We had them on our phone, which at some sites had trouble reading electronically, but ultimately gorgeous the machines to work.
